After all it is Sunday, so we all relaxed on the beach after a hard-core week of surfing. Marco put the roof on our extension – we are making progress, it’s not easy to work in this heat. And a few of us went for a little boat ride, to catch a breeze. There is a small chance of wind tomorrow and it should defiantly be back on Tuesday – I will keep you posted. d x

Herti arrived in Palekastro a couple of days ago and the strong winds came with him – he has been here every year since we opened the station. It was another day of forceful winds 7-8 Beaufort. Tomorrow it will calm down a bit… xx

Following an hour or two on the water every one got back into the building work – even Hannes got his hands dirty. Today our brand new rescue boat finally arrived – its only 4 weeks late, which is not bad going over here, in Greece. Strong winds are expected for tomorrow as well…… xx
